We really never know what today is going to bring. Life is unpredictable and there are no gaurentees. People can surprise us with sincere love and kindness and some people will disappoint us and even hurt us. I think if we remember we always have the power to choose. We can choose who we want in our lives and surround ourselves with. Usually, they are people with similiar values and mutual respect. Some people turn out not to be who we thought they were and we decide to defriend them because being with them is more painful than enjoyable. Life is very precious and is a gift. We need to value ourselves and love ourselves enough to choose wisely who we have in our lives and know who shouldn’t be in our lives. Just thinking about….today.

How true and really the key to happiness!! I think about my most enjoyable times and of course, they are always with the ones I love and who love me! Friends, family, that someone special, your children’s friends that you enjoy, etc….
Why is a night out with your Besties so fun?? Because you all have love and respect for each other!! Or, the person you enjoy being around – because they make you laugh??? It really is so simple! Weed out the downers and the party poopers, and the drama queens (or kings).
I have alot to look forward to in the coming weeks and now that you mention it – it’s because all the plans I have are with people I enjoy, love and respect!! (Including the sisterhood retreat- and I CAN’T WAIT!!!!)
