I asked myself that question today. And while I am enjoying being single, I’ve yet to date. Perhaps down the road. I am not ready yet.

but this was a good question to ask myself. and maybe some of the single ladies, or married but really living single ladies here can relate.

why should i be without a man?

I could not think of a reason, based on the kind of wife and mother I have been. Not one reason. How about you? Can you think of a reason? Probably not.

There is no reason for me to be without a man. None.

A good man, that is. Not a bad one. I’ve left the bad one, permanently. this is good.

i think, i might be getting my sexy back. just a little bit.

every sister here, deserves a man that loves them. and behaves like a man who loves them.

no one deserves someone saying the love you, and then acting in the opposite. that, is not having a man. that is having another child, to babysit.

i’d rather adopt. than marry, thank you very much.

these men, need to grow the f’ck up. but in the meantime, I won’t be sitting around knitting f’cking sweaters. That, I can assure you, is not for me.

if anyone had balls in our marriage, it was me. And so does every single woman here. It takes guts to come on this site and deal with what we’ve been dealt, staying or going. It takes serious kahoonas. If we were the mob, we’d be so lethal. Just sayin….

no reason, Pam. you absolutely deserve a good man who treats you right and loves you dearly. but you don’t *need* one 🙂 i.e. your happiness is not conditional on having a man. nor your sexiness or desireability. and that’s such a great place to be!
Your post made me think of this great Betty White quote.
“Why do people say ‘grow some balls’? Balls are weak and sensitive! If you really wanna get tough, grow a vagina! Those things take a pounding!” – Betty White

    LOL, go Betty!

Hell, yes, have a man. Three or four, why not? They do.

Seriously, you should have exactly the relationship that you want exactly when you want it. Nobody else’s opinion but yours and his counts, at ALL.

glad to hear you are getting your sexy back, pam!

it feels good to feel sexy. we deserve to feel that, it’s a large part of being alive!

i’ve felt sexier in the last six months than i have in the last 6 years! and i’m not even having sex.

when i do, watch out!! 🙂

Pam – Keep feeling sexy and flaunt it a little – might be surprised what comes your way. You deserve a REAL man. I think after everything we have all been through with these pices of shit h’s of ours, it will be pretty difficult to get fooled again – we have seen it all!

I think we should all have ‘try outs’ every night.

Okay, I seriously love the Betty quote and laughed totally out loud for the first time in a month. I could hear her sweet voice stating the obvious. HILARIOUS!!!

Yep that was FUNNY I love Betty Whites humor!!!

JoAnn, you mean like Cheerleading Tryouts???

On my BD my daughter and I were walking around this really neat small town with cobblestone buildings listening to blues music and going in and out of the shops. That’s where I smelled HiPPEE CHICK…..anyway, she said Mom there’s a good looking guy for you. I looked over and he was okay ” I said without thinking (really rare) “I’d just like to borrow his penis for 2 hrs, not him, just his penis”. My daughter said “2 hrs?!!”. I said ” yes, 2 hrs!”.

LOVE the try out line JoAnn! I will use it! :)I Still say we need a SOS Retreat in Chicago Spa by day, rock The Viagra Triangle at night, write about it on Sunday….now there’s a book idea! All our “groove” gone wild. ;-D
