Went to Lowes and bought a keyed lock for my bedroom. My son installed it for me and said he knew why. He said when I am gone his dad goes into my room, shuts the door and is in there a long time. ASSHOLE. There is a clinic by Legal Aid on Dec 6 that is 2 hours long, but when you are done you can go straight to the courthouse and file. I also got slide locks for the inside (thanks Kimberly for that brilliant idea!) so he has to knock to come in, but technically I have not changed the locks. 🙂 Take that ASSHOLE. I’m scared, but moving forward. Thanks for all the support, you ladies are da bomb!!!!! Now where to hide the second key? He is a cop an knows very well how to search a house. Hmmmmmmmm………

Well done, Monique! You can put your spare key in a little jar and bury it somewhere in your yard. Be all sneaky and do it when no one is looking. 😈

Excellent Monique! This is tough but your long incarceration (on multiple fronts) is about to end. He is going down and you’re going up. Doesn’t feel like it now, but it’s happening.

Monique, I haven’t been on all day (work) so I’m late to the party but I just want you to know that I am massively proud of you! You are reclaiming your life. I know it’s scary but just keep putting one foot in front of the other and you’ll get there.
