I am posting this in the Notice area and in the forum so it doesn’t get overlooked.
The Sisterhood has outgrown her red panties and some changes are long overdue.These changes are not only necessary, they are very exciting and will bring our message to a whole new level.
I will outline a few for you.
The software I am using for registering and managing members has degraded. I have spent months trying to fix it and have even elicited the help of a software developer. It seems as though there is no fixing it. So, an entire new program is needed.
The billing company I am using, 2CheckOut, is just not working. Their fees are outrageous and their interface and reports are inadequate.
The membership software and 2CheckOut are not playing nice with each other any more and inaccuracies and errors are increasing.
The forums are ready to explode. There are almost 200,000 comments and topics. It is disorganized and not as useful as a resource as I would like. A new forum system is necessary.
The software I am presently using does not integrate well with the new ideas I have for online live meetings, coaching, interviews, etc.
And, most importantly, all of my time is being used to fix back end issues instead of developing new resources for my Sisters.
So, there will be some changes. The hardest part for all of you is that you will have to re register. Anyone who has long term subscriptions will carry those over, but when they expire you will have to re register. Only monthly subscriptions will be available as the long term subscriptions are an accounting nightmare for my quarterly reports.
What won’t change is the look of this site. As you may remember, I put together this new look a few months ago in preparation for the changes that were coming and I am very pleased with the look and function.
I will hold your hands through all of this. It will be very exciting and when it is implemented we will be able to spread our wings and fly instead of being help back by technical issues.
