My son and his girlfriend traveled from Switzerland to Germany to spend Christmas with my daughter, Sarah. While they were there, they were all privileged to witness a beautiful comet. Here’s what he said about it:
When we were leaving Sarah’s friend’s house we looked up and saw the most awesome meteor!! It was orange and purple and sparks were coming off, and it was breaking into pieces. It was quite low too!!
When they got back to my daughter’s house they looked it up online and found several youtube videos. Here’s one of the best.
I just saw this forum. I missed it when I was in the “holiday planning crazies.” Wow–just beautiful!! I would love to see something like that someday. Thank you!
That is beautiful. When I was a child my cousins and I were sleeping out in a tent and we saw something like that, it lit the whole countryside, we thought it was God :)!. I will never forget it. Thanks for sharing and reminding me of that beautiful memory that I had forgotten about. I hope to see that one day again!
