    Who might this be describing?

    Shy and extreme social uneasiness (internally) as youth, but later appeared more gregarious
    Looked and acted like other students
    Dishonest…lied to impress others (especially girlfriends) about what he was really like
    Lack of direction and goals as young adult
    Described as having serious character flaws by those close to him
    enjoyed the thrill of high risk behavior
    seemed to lack a conscience
    felt different from others (internally as youth)
    Sexually immoral
    Lack of appropriate respect for his sexual partners (women)
    Liked to do volunteer work in the community

    I was googling Ted in my spare time at work! His story is strikingly similar to my h in ways. But I guess my h did not ram a bed post up my vagina and send me to the hospital and impair me for life…at least not in that way.

    Ted’s mother got pregnant out of wedlock. To not disgrace herself or family, I forget which one, she told him she was his sister and his grandparents were really the parents. CRAZY. Later in life, they told him the truth. He did not have his first sexual experience with a women he was very fond of until he was in college I think. He was ok looking, in my book. He must have had some major rage and control issues to hurt and kill so many women.

    Good old Ted…I ALWAYS think he is the perfect example of how what we see has nothing to do with what we get in people? Yet no matter how many stories are done on psychos we NEVER think we know one…..as if it only happens to someone else? Why do you suppose that is? Do we think in this grea big world there is only ONE Ted Bundy?? How much did you guys hear about the Canadian Lt Colonel up here who wasall manner of werid sexual things as well as torturing,sexually assaulting and killing women….as his nightime hobby. During the day he was running one of the biggest military bases in Canada. Russell Williams….a real piece of work! Karen xx
