I don’t believe for a minute in the addiction theory , I just simply believe that those men are bad to the bones and they have no moral values or virtues to help them restraint themselves,

DaisyAddiction or not, the big question is: does the treatment model work? I think it’s pretty clear that it does not. So that certainly calls into question the diagnosis. But it DEFINITELY means- you need to find another treatment.
This reminds me of all the efforts that the schools put into defining giftedness- which totally distracts them from actually implementing a program that adequately serves gifted students. I’m sure there are plenty of other examples.
Sorry, I know that is way off topic. But while the experts debate, opportunity for improvement falls by the wayside. From SA’s and their families to kids in schools.
