For those who want the opportunity to get outta dodge

I wanted to share a website that I belong to called housecarers.com. People from all over the world post requests for house sitters for time ranges from a couple of days to a year and everything in between. You set your target cities/countries and the dates you are unavailable and u get listings of available house sits in those areas. I get listings for farm houses in Provence, flats in London, cottages in Napa, as well as sits in my own town. It doesn’t pay and you usually have to care for a pet or two, take in mail, etc. I just enjoy reading them and considering the possibilities!
