I know what you mean, Trish. Up to now I’ve been traveling an hour one way to see mine. With gas so high, that gets expensive. This one is 15 mins away, that makes a huge difference in how often I can go. And if I can go on short notice.
Thank God Lynn!! I am so happy you found someone close and good. If I was young then I would go back to school and get my degree. Lord knows we need some decent therapists 🙂
Good deal, Lynn. I’m on my second one and this one is a keeper. Sometimes you just have to keep trying till you find one that fits.
Bev, I feel the same way. Twice now, I’ve been told that I would make a great therapist. Too late now, though.
It is NOT too late, geez you guys. If somebody with some life experience was doing the counseling it might make a little more sense.
Sorry, but I’m in classes for my BSN, and I’m 49. Won’t finish til 51 or 52. If you guys are too old, what does that make me? 🙁

I am tempted….but have been in a giving career much too long. It is time for this girl to change things up.
I was 51 when I got my AA degree in Accounting. I’m 54 now. I really don’t want to have to dress up and go to an office everyday. I’ve done that all my working life. That’s a stupid reason, but that’s the way I feel! I hated dressing up for work everyday! Couldn’t wait to get home and throw a t-shirt and jeans on!
