    My day started out not so good, but after reading all of your posts, I suddenly feel so much better. I love this sisterhood and each one of my sisters here.

    I was up at 4 a.m. with the puppy needing to go out to potty. (Which I’d rather she wake me than go in the house!) Then she wanted to play which got the other two dogs up. Now they all wanted breakfast. Managed to keep them quiet until 5 a.m. and then fed them. My back has been hurting for over a week now and all I wanted to was lay down on the couch with the heating pad. Between my back and my shoulder I feel like this birthday should be 83 instead of 53!

    I will, in spite of not feeling well, have a good day. i will get donkey hugs as I do everyday and I’ll send donkey hugs to all of you as well. I will kiss the horse on her nose, and I will pick up each of the seven cuddly kittens and love on them and kiss their head. I do this everyday and I just love it all.

    Thank you so much for all your well wishes. I truly appreciate it.

    Happy b-day claire!!!
    You are so blessed to have a farm. That is my secret wish, however i never think i could maintain it on my own. Animals are so loving and kind and can brighten any day. I hope you have a good one, spend it how you like!! Get lots of donkey hugs, and thank you for sending one my way!!

    Happy birthday! You are so special, I love your kindness and your gentleness, I love how that shines through in your caring about us sisters, and how you care for others in your life. Horses, donkeys, kitties and puppies…true love! 🙂 I wish you the best in the coming year. I wish for you that you find relief from your physical pain.     Thank you, all my sisters! I had a nice day today. My husband came home early while I was still up feeding donkeys and kittys. When I walked in the door, there was a cake with a candle in it and two cards. One card was from him, in it he wrote that his gift to me was his sobriety. The other card was from the horse (Bitsy), the donkeys (Bella and Prissy), the dogs (Willy, Maggie, and Lucy) and Mama Kitty and her seven kittens (which he couldn’t remember all their names!). Then he proceeded to make dinner. He BBQ’d two New York steaks, made some baked potatoes, mixed veggies, and a dinner salad. I have to admit, it was pretty darn good. Later we had some cake and watched TV. I gave him a hug before he went off to bed and told him he did good. (Hugs are rationed these days. I only give them when I feel comfortable giving them.) A pretty darn good day.

    But, nothing can compare to the nice birthday wishes I received from each and every one of you. You’ve touched my heart with your kind words. I feel truly blessed to be a member of such a wonderful group of women.

    Thank you for helping to make my day. I hope I can do the same for you.

    Yikes!!! Talk about LATE!! I am so sorry! Been busy with the wknd thing and trying to make our time together really special!! Of course, even without the goodies and extra touches, it would have been special anyway because of the company I’m keeping!!! 🙂

    Sounds like all in all, you had a pretty good day! Glad to hear it! I slipped out from all the pandemonium inside, to send you a quick message of (late) acknowledgement!! 

    I always appreciate your kind and supportive posts, no matter what kind of rant I might be on! You are such a gentle soul and I am so glad to call you my sister! We miss you here tonight, as well as the other sisters but you are in our thoughts and hearts and we are including you all in our shared conversations! 

    Love to all and SS, I hope you are feeling better soon! I hate it that you battle that thing so often!!
