    Just love hearing from all of you. All of you are my gift in the nightmare SA caused.

    My birthday so far? I will be “double nickels” 55 Dec. 14th. Feel great except for PTSD which is lessening, for good, I HOPE.

    Yesterday we went to lunch at the Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite Valley during a 4 hour dress rehearsal of their elaborate, 87 year running, Bracebridge Dinner Theater. It is 17th century Renaissance acting, music, song and nonsensical, irreverent merriment.

    Soooooo for $45 we saw hours of dress rehearsal. The actual dinner performance in $389 per person. Well, we feel so self satisfied to have the experience for such a deal.

    Then we drove,through the icy valley with freezing mist and ice covering most everything. We could hear and see ice cracking and fall from the waterfall edge. Magical!

    My physical gift? Ladies alpine hiking poles. Already have them and have cruised steep trails here (therapy). The poles increase your speed, your overall traction and safety…..all while saving your knees from early knee replacement. Nice!!!!

    Teri, we all deserve fabulous birthday celebrations. Now, how do we go about getting them for all of us? That is the question in my mind. And, the sooner, the better.
