Sending love and good wishes to all the devoted mother’s in the hood. It warms my heart to hear how devoted the mothers on this site are.
The pain we feels as mothers saddens me. It is so preventable, so unnecessary and so wrong for SAs to impact our roles is such a negative way.
Sending out wishes for moving forward in our collective healing for ourselves as mothers and for our children.
WE are the ones who have a shot at healing!

Happy Mother’s Day. Right.

Harmony, (((((((big hug))))))) he’s a pathetic little man and he will hang himself with your little ones over time.
Bev, C’mon girl, no mom guilt today. It’s your day and you know you deserve to be honored. Now father’s day is a whores of a different color. XOXO
Claire, can’t you wrap a piece of bacon around his unit and let the riled up dogs at him? Fucking baby. xoxo
I found my cell phone and had calls from three out of five. They are taking me to lunch later this week. That’s better.

Let the child slam whatever. It means nothing. It’s like the toddler and temper tantrums. It deserves no attention.
I’m sorry.
May 13, 2013 at 1:35 am #91458lisakParticipanti had a great day with my son. i could tell he wanted to make it a special day for me, because he usually doesn’t like going out. but he wanted to go to a chocolate cafe and to the aquarium. what a great kid. i think he is turning out like his mom, and not like his dad! 🙂 here’s hoping.
DW decided not to come. that made it better.

May 14, 2013 at 1:11 am #91461trishParticipantHappy Belated Mother’s Day to all of you wonderful gals. I have said from the beginning of this SA shit storm that I got the best my sah had to offer; my four lovely children and I’d go through it all again to have them in my life (Crazy right? But I would). I had a wonderful Mother’s Day with my four, plus our new bride and one of our future brides. It was also one of my boys 24th birthday. We all went to Mass and then brunch before all heading to our respective homes. It was a weekend full of celebrations of graduation, a promotion to LT for my oldest and the engagement of our 2nd son. My h flew in at midnight from Minwalla’s and we had a very nice and relaxing weekend all together at the beach (where my daughter’s college is). I had fun and I haven’t had fun in a very long time!
