Boston AugustanaApril 21, 2011 at 1:48 pm #12135hadj608ParticipantGreat choices!! I put together a play list on Grooveshark and I blast it in the kitchen. I make myself do something productive when I listen to it!! Keep them coming and maybe I’ll get this wedding organized! This makes me think of all of you in a happy way!
I kindled the book He’s gone your back, but haven’t read it yet. I hope it’s possitive. I need more lifts in my life!
Thanks all!
April 21, 2011 at 9:15 pm #12136silver-liningParticipantYou will LOVE that Book! I hope everyone that eventually chooses to leave their SA or is even contemplating leaving to read it!! It’s my bible, and I haven’t even left yet!! Also by John Mayer (and Taylor Swift) is a song calle Half of my heart! OMG! Not sure about ‘happy’ music on that one, but an SA theme song for sure! Check it out.
April 21, 2011 at 10:09 pm #12137lyloParticipantSpeaking of John Mayer…not necessarily happy, but “fathers be good to your daughters” speaks to the problems that fathers can impose on their daughters and their ability to love. My husband wanted to dance to that one at my daughters wedding last summer. I suggested he read the lyrics.
April 21, 2011 at 10:28 pm #12138silver-liningParticipantI hope he picked “I loved Her First”, Lylo. OMG! I love that song!!!! I boo hoo every time! Lol…

And would like to add Grenade by Delilah (from the Sing-Off). It’s on Amazon and it just seems to sum up what we all would have done for our SAs… note the past tense for me. 😀
