I need your energy today, good stuff:)

Friday we went to two banks to apply for a home equity line of credit (HELOC). We used both our incomes and encumbered most of the property to be sure it will appraise out. It sounds good. We’ll know for sure by the end of this week. We can close by the end of the month.

I will use the HELOC against our joint home to buy the new house in my name only. They don’t care what we do with the money now that our house is leveraged. I’ll sign the business shares over to him.

My lawyer stopped the divorce action and has drawn up a contract with the same divorce stipulations.

I re-offered on the house. Will find out tomorrow if they accepted. 10 days to do inspections and then close.

My H and I drove a couple hours north and bought my cabinets. I am getting bids on the roof, tile and furnace work. I’m looking at color palettes and tile samples.

My kids have offered their help and their good wishes for my happiness.

I am going to stay in our house until the big work is done and I can move into a livable space. I’ll paint and pick away at the rest.

Hope to hear back from that job interview. It was a good agency for in home health care. Has benefits at 32 hours per week. Not my dream job but it will support me while I settle in to my new life and then I can move into something else. I’ll still work PT at Chicos.
