Hi Sisters!
I just wanted to post that tomorrow I’m running a 15k (9.3 miles…eek!). I’m nervous because my training got off track due to bronchitis a month ago. This is definitely a “fun” thing, and nothing to get too worked up about, but I really wanted to do it. For some reason, maybe it’s kind of cheesy, but it seems like a metaphor for my life right now. If I can do this, I might feel like I can do almost anything. So I’m posting here so I can feel all your positive energy tomorrow! There are some tough hills, but I’m going to feel my army of sisters PUSHING me up them, LOL (as you do in every aspect of this crazy life!) Wish me luck, and love you all lots!! ZumbagirlHi ZG i no for a fact that you will do this. Your training may have got off track…but you can always walk if needed. You may not have the time you had hoped for, but you made it. I think you can train and train, but you can always walk if needed. You will make it. I think we can walk way farther than we can run. You will do it! Whats the nike saying? Just do it!!

FloraZG, you will FLY tomorrow and we will be the wind beneath your wings. I feel such strong energy just reading your post, really, I have goose bumps right now. It’s not very often that i get such a strong feeling from someone, but when I do I know it’s important.
You go girl, and we will all be with you.

So just an update….drum roll..I did it! 🙂 What a great morning..beautiful, sunny weather. I finished in 1:39:24, which I’m SO happy about after almost getting sidelined by bronchitis. (Flora, I didn’t have to walk at all!) I can’t tell you how good it feels not to have given up, and I really believe all the inspiration I’ve gotten from you ladies over the last few months got me to this “can do” point. There were a couple of tough spots on the route; I channelled your energy, and I swear I could feel it. It got me through! SA met me at the after-party, but he didn’t come to cheer me on–too much bother/crowds/didn’t see the necessity…blah, blah, blah…whatever; I didn’t let it ruin my day as it would have in the past. So thank you all “for being with me.” It’s been a good day! XOXO
Way to go ZG!!!!!! Im so happy for you and your spirit and energy is my inspiration!!! You should feel very proud of yourself and it shows how much strength, courage, and positive energy you have. Keep moving girlfriend!

You sound so happy!! You are awesome for doing this for all your above mentioned benefits. I am proud of you! You are encouraging me to get moving too. I’ve gained a little weight lately. I do waterski though and I have to say I’m proud of that for myself. It is a workout, tones me and is so fun. I love the sun and the water.
