    Lisa, welcome back! I had to laugh at “the fucking doctor” in reference to your sound engineer. Freudian slip?! Or maybe you meant that quite literally. 😀 Either way, I’m happy you’re back and even more happy that you had a wonderful trip and are energized and ready to get on with your authentic life.

    What sounds did he make? 😉

    Move to an apt. in Shaunesey…..walk to that great Asian restaurant and cocktail place. We stayed there in Aug. and loved it. My cousin is giving up hers soon….I can put you in touch if you are interested. Great smallish building with parking.

    When my book “Hotel Living” comes out I’ll let everybody know. I’m on the Chapter called Tuesdays, it’s when the vending machines got filled. Yep, every Tuesday.

    commercial drive area. bohemian land. very close to your son, he’s downtown, i’m a short sky train, 10 minute drive, 20 minute bike ride away.

    His school was on east hastings and I know commercial drive is east of there and a very trendy hood. 🙂 So commercial drive is where your house is too? I will be sure to let you know when I am coming. We are looking at moving him to a smaller place and are not sure we trust him to get it right- he is on home dialysis.
    Anyway…if I head out I will be sure to let you know. I would love to meet you too. Karen xx

    Reading your post this morning gave me strength. You sound strong and well grounded. Your creative talent and music skills are working on giving my life a new melody. I think you brought a bit of the “Dutch” back with you. And you know what they say …..”Your not much if your not Dutch!!!!!”
