I just got back from seeing my new grandson. Samuel Joseph born today at 8:16 a.m. 7 lbs. 11 oz. 19″ long. Born to my son and daughter in law. Very special this one is, because my son is my only child from my 1st marriage. We are very close. He was soooo nervous and wanted his Mommy there! So I drove down (3 hours driving time) and even though my ex husband and his wife were there it was a wonderful day. i’m so very proud of him and my ex even came over and hugged me and said can you beleive we’re grandparents? My SA was at work and couldn’t get off , which was perfectly fine with me as I wanted some one on one time with my son. It was a beautiful day and I’ve updated my avatar in honor of Sammy! Love to you all.
cbcbs, congratulations! What a beautiful time isn’t it? And, what a beautiful little Samuel! I’m so happy for you and your family. It’s nice that your ex can acknowledge to you what you have created together, that does mean a lot. I have been there and understand that affirmation. You look so happy! Oh CBS this is so precious. Babies are raining down on you. I look forward to the days of granbaby’s, but not too soon of course. The daughters have to be of age, or atleast that is what i hope for. Right now I am trying to survive my three year old and two teenagers. Love the pic. So happy for you. Flora
