Just heard from the clinic…the biopsy was benign with no abnormalities found. Just need to go back next year for another screening mammo, as usual. I’m going to damn well celebrate with a beer tonight. Thanks for all your support and good wishes and prayers…I’m sure they made a difference! Hugs back to ALL of you…

You know, one day I saw on the news about a comet that might come by. I was so excited and planned to get up that night to see it. I realized then that I was alive again. I anticipated and sought out joy. I want to stay around long enough to see beauty again. Every breath we take is the affirmation of life, is the desire for life.
This was stressful and it’s so good to just breath it back into past, and focus on what’s here, and find strength to face the future. I’m so happy for you.
I am definitely relieved 🙂 the terror has lessened considerably. it bugs me though to hear, like I did from one person today, that having a health scare “puts things in perspective” in terms of the wreckage that wt has caused, like what he has done to my life is a big nothing in comparison. In fact thinking I might have cancer brought home to me that I’m alone now with no one in the house to help if there’s an emergency or if I get seriously ill, and the rest of my life is still a train wreck, that hasn’t changed. I was then told that I wasn’t grateful enough for not having cancer. Wtf. They just. Do not. Get it.
I hope I didn’t add to that feeling of “perspective” nothing could be farther from the truth. I remember when I face infertility that some people told me that “God had other plans for me.”
Just hit home again today that I do not have cancer 🙂 and through the scare you all were with me all the way…so grateful for this site, for the community we have here that no one wants to join but which is the real thing, dammit, and real feels so good compared to the fakery & ersatz shallowness of the assholes we’ve been forced to deal with…they drag us through their shitty little scum worlds of hookers and porn, and how flat and pathetic that is. I once advised wt to not sacrifice the real for the fake. Of course he did anyway. Who does he have to sympathize and take care of him if he gets sick? A hooker? I had the good wishes and prayers of my family and friends and all of you here…that’s a gift beyond price 🙂
