I’ve sent them two emails and have never heard back. I am not good with initial phone calls, so I was really hoping to make some contact via email first. Then I got pissed that they didn’t reply. I really need to put on my big girl panties and call.
I just heard that their server crashed last week, and they lost major data. It’s throwing Danielle for a loop trying to retrieve it and they are backed up replying to people. Be patient, I guess even ISH doesn’t back up data well enough (something that drives me insane about my SA).
P.S. Just call. When I first did cold call scared to death, Danielle was so sweet and professional and helpful.
Agreed-they are really wonderful and supportive….it is worth getting past some of their follow through issues and it is worth being persistent.
Yep Danielle is a sweetheart. Very understanding and supportive. Dr. M is the bomb. He is like a Knight in shining Armor. He pulls no punches. He actually scared the living shit out of me when I talked to him, but he gets it. And he hates the thought of any one being in an abusive situation. I can’t say enough about ISH and I will never have enough money to go, but Dr. M has called me 4 times and talked to me. He is wonderful and validated my feelings.
My experience FWIW.Autumn persist with your emails and make that call. I sent quite a few emails before Danielle got back to me. Unfortunately I think she is a little snowed under. It also took some time before I could speak to Minwalla but that was more to do with the tyranny of distance than procrastination on his part.
I wish I could, it has made such a difference for so many sisters.
