I’m excited that my quilt was hanging at the Fine Art of Fiber show at the Chicago Botanic Garden last weekend. (This is not a juried show; it features work by members of three local guilds.)
I pieced the top with simple shapes and solid fabric because I wanted to focus on the hand-quilting. I titled it “Peace in Process” because I find hand-quilting to be very meditative. Once I could function again after my last D-day, I appreciated having this project to work on to quiet my mind. And now, I have another quilt to wrap up in this winter!
