New retreat details

Girls, 

Just a few things….. For anyone driving- bring your pillow and some bedding! Throw in an extra pillow if anyone has one! And please drive safely!! Katt, remember the blow up bed! 

Also, I thought for Saturday, it might be fun if each of us wore something from our home state! Especially for pictures!! It would look cool to have all of us in our gear to show how we came together from many places! This could be sweatshirts, jerseys of your home team, (ie: Colts or Packers), or something from your local HighSchool or college… Anything that might acknowledge your town or state! If you don’t have anything, it’s no big deal! I just thought that would be really fun!! Thoughts?? 

Also, for dinner on Sat night- and I guess majority can rule- which sounds better to you? We either go out to a moderately priced restaurant (just to get out and about for awhile) OR we could have a pot of chili and hang out at the fire pit in Jeanettes backyard?? (weather permitting) Either choice is fine with me. If we choose fire pit, then we may need the ones driving to bring a couple lawn chairs. So, everyone needs to weigh in on this in the next couple of days so we can plan! 

Also- any food restrictions or dietary needs? Let me just say, anyone on a diet – forget it this wknd! You’ll die when you see all the snacks, lol…. 
And we were just planning on ordering pizza in on Friday night to keep it simple!! 

Alcohol?? Ok, I am going to bring a couple of bottles of wine from home and Jeanette has a couple. I also have some Misc hard liquor that I can bring and Jeanette has some vodka so I thought I would pick up some cranberry juice. What else!?  If there is something really specific you want, you may want to bring it or we can stop at a liquor store at any time. So be thinking about THAT. We will have coffee and hot tea available and lemonade, sweet tea, unsweetened tea, and some homemade rootbeer!! Maybe Some apple cider from the orchard!! Yum! if we do fire pit, we might want some hot cider with Captain Morgan Spiced Rum!! 

So…. These are some ideas, but I would really like your input as well. I’m willing to do the work- I just need to know what I’m doing!!! 

Don’t forget to bring pics of your family, pets, homes, whatever you want to share!! 

We have DVD player and VHS if anyone wants to bring a movie! Someone suggested the Gas Lighting movie which might be cool and then we could discuss?? Or, one of my all time favorites- Thelma and Louise!! Lol!! 

Shout me out your thoughts when you get a chance! I am taking Sam back to school tomorrow, (in Lafayette) so I’m gonna swing by Jeanette’s so I know where I’ll be going on Thursday!!
