Ann that would be reasonable,so that’s probably why it isn’t used since this is an SA world. Teri, your experience…ugh… Just puts a pit in my stomach. I am so sorry. I just don’t understand why your stbxsah doesn’t just back off physical visitation, yet could stil send bat daily emails, texts, letters, etc expressing care for him until bat is more comfortable.
So, the law is that Bat cannot choose whether or not to go. However, no one can force him to go. How’s that for ya? Real clear.
So I had to be there last time because that is what STBX demanded in the court order. However, therapists are also in charge now, and coparenting therapist this morning said I can stay in the car from now on. So she got that one right.
I explained to her the stress I was feeling about having to get everything I say just right and trying to remember it, my worry about Bat, and my PTSD reaction around STBX and I said I don’t think I can do and keep my tone perfect and body language perfect, and Bat is going to know I am stressed. She understood that, said stay in the car, and said she would go to bat for me on that if she had to. So thank goodness.
She is also going to talk with STBX about getting visitation down to once a week which is what Bat and Bat’s therapist have been asking for for months and I have been saying for a year and a half. But I think she is finally getting it. So I am hoping that maybe the stars are starting to align?
She has told me stuff like this and then it didn’t happen though, so I won’t hold my breath. Stay tuned.

I know that there are so many negative things about this situation, Teri, but it is absolutely crucial that you recognize any movement in the right direction. It’s all about the energy. Let yourself be thankful. You don’t have to trust the person. Just be thankful for each thing that seems right. Your gratitude makes it stronger. And there’s a bunch of us doing the very same thing. We have to change the energy, because that’s one of the reasons why he’s so effective—there’s more negative energy in play than positive. We are working thing from a different angle. Attaching to the negative energy keeps it in play, and not attaching to the positive energy lets it slip away. He’s a terrifying force, but he’s not the only force.

D.xoYeah, I am hoping with my son’s therapist on board (and maybe even the forensic psychologist) that that will keep everyone on track, change the pattern we have been in.
Plus some good voodoo magic/positive energy from the sisters!

Once a week would be so much better. I am keeping my fingers crossed (but NOT holding my breath).Well, Bat got home today at 1:12 pm from visitation. He said he had started feeling anxious an hour and a half before and asked dad to bring him home. Said he asked him several times, but dad refused and kept trying to get him to do different things. Bat was not happy about that. Sent emails with the facts to both therapists.
Rules just do not apply to dr. evil.

And she’s pleading with me to take money.???WTF???
She’s a basket case. I feel sorry for her son, being pawned off like that. And you, how did you get in her scopes? She’s creepy. So many ways that’s not right.
That is one weird lady. I hope she doesn’t have any other kids. Geez Teri, as if you needed anything else going on in your life, you get this crazy lady! Well, at least it’s proof that you are not the crazy one at all!
