Not sure what to think of this one. There’s interesting research, but the issue on nature vs. nurture (with the doctor exemplified) rattles me a bit, likely because I can see the path toward pity party that comes from it.
subhumans like Carnes would use that as a means to emphasize to partners that Dexter can be fixed with unconditional love (aka be a stepford wife)
