wow, Nap, thank you so much for sharing this poem. it is truly poignant. and your story of telling the man at Salvation army. and his reaction. this whole thread is heartbreaking. so many dreams shattered. so many hearts broken. sometimes including the SA’s. ugh. i hate this. it just sucks all around. the betrayals stack up and up. SA: the most vicious and violating addiction.
