Okay, you can register now.

Just choose the ‘Trial’ membership, which is free. Use the same user name and e-mail address that you use here. After you are registered you will receive an e-mail with your temporary password.
When you log in you will be taken to a page to update your password. Please do that.
Then you can look around. Please check out the forums page. Nothing is posted there yet, but you can see the structure. Go ahead and post a topic if you like, but remember, for now, anyone can register and see what is written.
Please do not change your avatar to a photo until the final changeover is complete.
Okay Sisters, Let The Fun Begin
It’s time! Time to start migrating over to the new website.
I have created the exact look of this site except for the new and improved forums. The forums here have become disorganized, bloated and impossible to index or search.
The large amount of information–almost 150,000 comments and almost 7,000 topics has overloaded the program and caused some glitches that cannot be fixed.
You will love the new forums, and I promise I will find a way to archive all of these for viewing (but not commenting).
So, what I need from you now is to just register on the new site. Register with the exact same user name and e-mail that you use here. That way, when the time comes to switch over I will be able to match up your subscriptions.

Just register. Do not sign up for any subscriptions. You will do that later.
When you have registered, please comment below that you have done it.
Hopefully I will have this all completed within a week or two and then when anyone comes to this site they will be redirected to the other site. Since they both look the same it should be painless.

OKAY—Stop until further notice! Simply registering does not put you in the system. Damn, I thought I had tested that.
So, until further notice, just hang on and don’t register yet.
Thank gawd that customer support for the software works weekends. 🙂

I tried and it wouldn’t let me register without choosing a subscription….. I can choose the “trial/free” one if that would help??

And, you are the perfect test Sister because you have a long term subscription (no longer available).
So, I will change your subscription type on the new site from a free trial to a regular subscription and put the end date the same as the end date you have here. Then, you will be able to log in both here and there until your original subscription runs out. Then you will be prompted to sign up again.
If this works then we can start the migration with all the Sisters.

After registration you will get an e-mail with the password. Then you can sign in and change your password to the same one you have here or something different.
After you sign in go look at the forums and how they are separated. I think you will like it. Post something if you like, but keep it general as it is still open to anyone who signs up.
I registered – I tried to sign in which I think you said NOT to do – and it said my user name was not recognized – Meg
Meg, you should have been able to sign in. Let me know if you try again and can’t. Did you choose the trial option and let that go through?
If done correctly you should receive an e-mail with your password. Please go in immediately and change the password to one of your own.
I encourage all of you to start signing in and using the forums. This change over needs to happen soon, so please get yourself familiar with it. ~ JoAnn
