Just thought i would let all of you know that I will be gone all weekend. We are leaving bright and early tomorrow morning for Ohio to enjoy my grandson’s HS graduation party. He has been accepted into the Wright State University Honors Program and will major in Computer Engineering.
And, as I was packing a thought crossed my mined. My first husband will be there, of course, but I remembered that Saturday, the day of the party, would have been our 50th wedding anniversary had we stayed married. Yes, I was very young (17) when I married the boy next door.
Damn I’m getting old!

I will be seeing my ex tomorrow, too. Had we have stayed married it would have been 32 years. Our son is having their 1st child and our 1st grandchild by C-section tomorrow. We will see each other at the hospital. Oh joy. We get along fine and always have but his wife is barely tolerable.
Yes, we are getting old!
