Please welcome our new Sister, Caly.
Caly wrote in her profile that she joined the Sisterhood because:
My husband is a sex addict. He has support groups held multiple times a week and I haven’t any groups available to me. And as the partner who has been betrayed, I feel this is grave imbalance. So I am joining to gain support and not feel as alone in this journey.
Welcome Caly, and yes, it is an imbalance that they get all the support and we are ignored as if our experiences are insignificant. You will find a lot of dialogue about that here as well as a lot of support and resources.
As you read through the topics and comments you will see that we are here to completely support you and help you find your way. There is information here that is not available anywhere else.
Just let us know what you need Caly, we are all here for you.

You are in the right place Caly. You are right that there are not places for the spouse of a SA to get support. You are going through trauma and need to have someone to talk to who understands what you are going through. Talk to us – these women have been there. (((((((((((((hug)))))))))))))))) God Bless you.

Welcome to SOS. So sorry for what you are going through and that you are having a hard time finding support. You have come to the right place, though. The collective wisdom from all these women is amazing. Glad you are here.

Yes, it’s all about them all the time. That’s one of the reasons we exist here. I’m glad you joined and I hope you get some information, sharing and support that will help you find your way. We are very “pro” partner here, because of that same imbalance you identified. We want the women to be supported, have information, given opportunities to make good choices for themselves and their children in the face of this nightmarish mess.
