ParticipantLONGING…
Oh my God, your voice I long to hear…
Your compass of direction to show your care…Your Word to become revelation for me…
A dream, a vision, oh help me to see…An angel to visit with guidance to share…
Or a donkey to speak, if you so dare…A friend to speak your oracles to me…
To help me to see what you want me to see…Your finger could carve a note on my wall…
Then my longing would stop, and to my knees I would fall.Tell me, Oh God, which way I should turn…
If only your thoughts I could easily learn…The fork in the road demands a reply…
I sit on the path and continue to cry…Show me your ways and confirm them to me…
Now I lay on the road, as confused as can be.But I mustn’t give up; you will meet every need…
My timing and yours may be different, indeed…Sometimes you come at the very last hour…
With all that we need, in your awesome power! So I will continue to seek you, with all of my might…
Waiting and listening…for your timing is right.September 13, 2011 at 4:35 am #18569silver-lining

ParticipantB,
Your poem made my heart stop! The Lord does indeed love a broken and contrite heart. He will make our paths straight.
Love, Debora

ParticipantThanks NAP, SL, and Deb.
I would never want to give another person the pain and the decisions that my h has forced me to have. Like passing a “hot potato” I just want it all to go away, but it never does. I can’t pass this to anyone. I must face the torment and confusion, and make decisions accordingly.
Thanks for being there for me sisters. Love, B.September 13, 2011 at 2:29 pm #18574cbslife
MemberBT – That is just awesome. Thank you for sharing that. It speaks volumes to me.

ParticipantClaire, I love your name, too:) I wanted to name my youngest daughter Claire, but compromised and it’s her middle name instead.

MemberWow! Thanks for the compliments on my name. It’s a very old fashioned name passed down from my Mom. She’s a Claire senior and I’m a Claire junior! All my life, though, my Mom always called me by both my first and middle name (Claire Louise) because she said she didn’t like calling her own name!
ZG – What’s your daughters first name?
Claire

My daughter’s name is Leah Claire:) My older three are Rachel, Sam, and Adam, so biblical won out for the first name, but Claire was my first choice for her
