    I thought I would share a few books I’ve been reading….
Narcissistic Lovers and The Manipulative Man
They must have been written about my husband..!!!
I am amazed at the similarities..
    Just thought I’d share.

    thanks Deb.
I’ve been thinking a lot about narcissism. I never thought about it all before all this happened to me and my sons. It just seems obvious now but I couldn’t see any of it as I went along. Whenever I questioned the arrogance or selfishness of him and his mother, I was chastised by others or put down by the two of them. I wish I could have had one person say “that’s right, Diane, it is selfish and wrong”. Just one person.

Now I feel like I see it everywhere. The pendulum does swing doesn’t it?

I think reading and learning about narcissism is very important to decode these men and understand the abnormal tools they use to survive and to manipulate
I Am going to look those books up
I also read A book called disarming the narcissist , a great book I would recommend for you to read as well

    here’s a good one

the language of emotions by karla mclaren.

i can’t express how much it has helped me to understand my emotions, how they protect me.

yes smart therapist. i don’t want to know anymore about compulsive behaviour, i get it.

for those of you that are new to these horrors, learning about SA is invaluable. don’t get us wrong, it’s still worth it to understand.

but there comes a time when you know enough to simply know its really fucked up. and that OUR lives are the ones worth focusing on.
