nap and i were talking how does a trip to ashville nc sound. if you would like to do this maybe mid/late june. i know i would go and nap has talked about it for some time. so if you would like to we would like to start and set a date and place. i will start checking for hotels vs a rental. would need some sort of head count too. lets hope silver can step in here as she is a natural at this. i saw her in action. so please post and add your 2 cents here. im so not good at this stuff.

There’s an old boarding house that is now a hotel in Black Mountain, a cool little town 10 minutes outside of Asheville. It’s called the Monte Vista. Cheap, cute. Antiques everywhere, big porch with rocking chairs. Last time I stayed, no AC, but the mountain breeze worked fine for me. They do group rates, etc. If you want to go more upscale and in town, Hotel Indigo is awesome.
Could we get a good group rate at Hotel Indigo? I think I’d like to be in Ashville so we could walk around and stuff. Also for health reasons I need A/C.
I’m on the tentative list. Would love to be there. It will depend on timing and so forth. My son graduates from highschool at the end of June, and we haven’t yet worked out the details of a party and all that. Crossing fingers!!!
I would love to go, but may need to be added to the tentative list also, due to work. If I find out the details in advance I may possibly be able to swing it. Naturally I am the only one in my office who is trained to do my job and I don’t have anyone to fill my spot.

I would love to go, but unfortunately I have a horrible phobia of flying, and haven’t been on a plane for 26 years. But if there ever is a retreat in the SF bay area, I’m there!
xoxohi ladies i have been looking on line for places to stay and found this so far i think it would be cheaper per night if it was broken down by number and amount of nights you stayed big plus is we would have privacy and a place to all get together

much love kattI agree with you Katt – it probably would be a lot cheaper and A LOT more private for getting together. Whenever I travel I usually go to VRBO to find a place to stay, it almost always is cheaper than hotels and you can usually find places in town or right outside of town.
I would really love the opportunity to meet all of you in person 🙂

i dont care any date for me is good and where we stay cuz i have my car if need beDepends when but I just checked flights from London in June and it’s £570.00 wouldn’t have much left for accomodation . I realised I have been to the blue ridge mountains before when I was 18. It was truly beautiful!
I’d love to go. I went to college in NC and love it (I want to move there so badly). I may be on the East Coast around that time in June, and if so, I’m there! I know that I’m a new sister….but feel like I’ve known you for years already. Annie – I’m in the Bay Area, too, if you ever want to get together.
I’m confused, I thought it was in Kentucky with SL. She is the hostess with the mostess. What a wonderful job she did for the 1st retreat.
