Thank you sisters for your love and support.

It’s a cold rainy day. How appropriate, right? He is gone to the hearing right now, I’m at home.

I’ve already pissed him off by not letting him take my car to the hearing. He eluded to the fact last night that his pickup truck was killing his back, so I left a note by the coffee maker last night that I needed my vehicle today, so please don’t take it today. I also, in that note, asked him to please let me know the results of the hearing via text as soon as he gets out.

What I’m nervous about now is that he’s likely coming back home right after the hearing and he will not be in a good mood. That’s when he usually takes it out on me. With it raining outside he won’t be able to do any work.

Oh well, maybe I’ll just take off and do some shopping!

Lisa, if the courthouse was in town I’d have my neighbor go but it’s an hour away. No family here and I wouldn’t feel right asking someone else to do that. Trust me, I’ve already thought of that! If my sister lived nearby, she’d be there in a heartbeat, in fact she’d probably cause a scene in the courthouse! But she’s in Florida and I’m in California.

I do need a haircut, maybe I’ll call and see if I can get in.

I don’t have any fingernails left to have a manicure, not even enough stubs to put on fake ones. I tried the fake ones and ended up with a fungus, now doctor says no nail polish, not even clear until the fungus clears up. So I can’t even scratch an itch without fingernails! This stress can’t be good for me at all.

This hearing is to reschedule the sentencing date. Only the judge can set the date.

I just got a text from him that he just got out of court and it has been rescheduled to Dec. 11th.

I asked him if he got a copy of the pre-sentencing report and he replied, yes. I’m looking forward to reading that.

Well, all I can hope for now, today, is that the sun comes out and he leaves to go to work. 🙂

I wonder that, too, Desiree. I doubt he will voluntarily give it to me. He’s still not home and since it’s 1pm I doubt I will see him until late tonight if he does as he usually does.

My guess is the scenario will go one of two ways.
1 – He will get home late, say he left the document in the truck and is too tired to go out and get it . . . or
2 – He will leave it in his pick up but bring home the pump truck that usually lives at his best friends house.

Hopefully I’ll be presently surprised and he will bring it in with him tonight and throw it at me!

I hope he stays away till really late tonight.

I am so glad it will be over before Christmas. I hate that it was delayed but your strength and courage continue to amaze me Claire. You are quite a woman. He is quite an asshole.
