Yes, Donna, so true. There are many brilliant and savvy women in this group. We ALL put up with too much and got scammed. You are in good company and you will be fine.

Sorry bev, my issues are trivial compared to yours. I know that. Thank you for taking the time to respond I just feel so alone and feel as though him and others are laughing at me thinking I’m some crazy making stuff up to get some revenge….it’s just really hurtful and I feel so powerless

Your problems are not trivial compared to anyone’s. It is important to you and has affected your life so it is certainly not trivial.

Don’t focus on what he is saying and on anything his friends/family are saying. Focus on what you know.

Sometimes being right (as far as making sure he’s outed to family) isn’t worth it.

Pursuing to out him will reinforce his allegation that you are crazy. Ok, so what if they are laughing at you? Let them laugh.

You most certainly get the last laugh by ending it and/or staying gone.

Donna – You have got to put yourself first, second and third. Block all thoughts of him. It is you that needs help dealing with the present and past traumas in your life. He does not want or need your help. He does not want or need your comments and he does not want or need you in his life. He has been painfully clear. You upset his apple cart of deception and lies. Let him be. Let him wallow in his own filth.
SAVE yourself! No contact Donna, None! It is ALL about you now. What you need. What makes you feel peaceful. What are your truths? What makes you smile or rest. Make lists. Seek professional help and stop letting him into your thoughts rent free. He IS NOT thinking about you. I know this is harsh and I don’t want to hurt you more, but you have to choose yourself and your life and your future. Let him go. I have been married to my SA for 30 years. I do know just how hard it is. I really do. There is peace out there for you, but you have to choose you to get to it. Praying for you girl!
