Just posted this on seekin peace’s ‘monday’ post but felt it needs to come up again as a truth..

it really is a waste of your precious energy to try to work out why. He is an addict that’s why. It has nothing to do with you. You do not come into his thinking when he does what he does anymore than his ex wife did or anyone else. It’s not your fault, you can’t fix it, you are not to blame, you are nothing to do with his problem or vice. He does not think about you at all in these behaviours.
Please – the peace you seek will come when these awful facts sink in.
It doesn’t mean he didn’t love you. It’s just his way isn’t healthy, the way you deserve to be loved or the way you desire to be loved.
    You must let go.
Xx hugs to you – it’s the hardest thing ever, but it is doable x

I’m saying this after my son’s birthday weekend because I need to focus on the truth of what we had and not the lie mistook for an honest life.

Hope it helps someone today x
