does anybody know if it is possible in the state of PA for the STBXH to withhold a suport payment? Mine is supposed to be garnished from dr aholes wages. It was due to me Dec.21st. I can call my support officer at 3:30 today but not before that. I have bills I wanted to drop at the post office today but I can’t until I know I got support $ and the suspense is killing me.

If it’s court ordered, nobody can stop it unless a judge signs a new order or dipshit quits and there is no money to garnish.

So, no is the answer, provided it’s court ordered by the judge or ordered from the state.

Check if there is an online site, my state shows the record online if I want to look but mine always arrives so I never had to look. With the holidays expect a delay. Mines always a day or two late at any holiday.

Thanks Kinberley. I did check the site. It has a list of my payments but no payment yet for the one due on Dec 21st. I thought the same thing…if court ordered he has to pay. He has a scumbucket slimy lawyer who contiually lies and breaks the rules. That is why I am nervous. Called my lawyer today and they said there is contempt that can be filed but it takes 30 days to catch up with him. We are all waiting for 3:30 deadline when I can speak with domestic relations. I hope he didn’t quit his job but who knows with him. He is a slimebucket too.

Mine quit his six figure job so he wouldn’t have to pay me then he retired. (at 53). He’s currently off to Florida for 2 weeks with some skank or ho.

Mine has pulled every trick in the book, he actually had corporate redirect his payroll checks, and in the meantime told me and the attorney that Social Security froze his accounts and paychecks because they had a death report on him.

If only I had been that lucky.

Sorry, they are just above the law in their own mind. If they CAN do it, and they want to, they will. Laws and orders be damned. They know (playbook again?) that if they pay it BEFORE the final date stated at the contempt hearing (30 days to file, plus the wait for a court date, plus the time a judge usually gives them to make things right) they are okay, and you’ve had to go through a hell of a lot of legal hoops. A man who will screw around on you physically, will screw you financially.

I don’t mean to laugh Lynn but that tickled me for some reason.

dr ahole did the same thing with the mortgage just before our last support hearing. He purposely did not pay the mortgage, homeowners which went into complete cancellation, lines of credit for 3 months. He literally waited until 15 minutes before court and then paid everything. Today, my lawyer recieved a letter from his lawyer stating that I chose not to pay the mortgage and now this that and the other thing has a late payment and its all my fault. I did speak with Domestic Relations and they do not have my support payment there and the accounting dept at his medical practice is on vacation until Jan 2nd. He is the biggest fucking dick in the entire world. I started a new post on what happened with my kids this year. I hate my life.

Ride this out. It will get better. I think with all the dick moves they make we ultimately out smart them anyway.

    Hang in there.

It’s okay, Kimberley, It was an ironic kinda wishful thinking I indulged in almost every day until the divorce finalized, and I wouldn’t get the life insurance money

Now, it’d just be another obituary
