Hello,
The other night I had a really clear dream about creating some teaching material aimed at students (in the UK they would be sixth form aged 17 – 19 – not sure what level that would be in the US or Canada?)
This teaching material has a number of strands but it is basically about being a really lovely together human being.
The core material would contain stuff around Managing Money, Managing Work, Managing Life and Managing Relationships.I also think there would be a correlating piece that is available for parents.
Now, within the Managing Life section I want to include material relating to addiction – its pretty obvious its going to include stuff about drugs and alcohol but I also think it needs to include stuff about pornography and sex addiction.
Within the Managing Relationships piece there would need to be a section on intimacy…What would you include in there? Starters for me are definitions, self-tests, what to do if you think your partner / family member / friend has a problem, testimonies from people who have recovered / from partners – probably video, resources – books, youtube links, weblinks…
This is most likely to be online learning material with discussions that could take place during tutorials. What do you think?
