How are the wedding plans going. I’m not sure I remember the dates but I know they are coming up. Wish you all the best and enjoy it as much as you can. Don’t let anyone rain on your parade!!!

I see Sharron had some posts we’ve all been missing. What happened is that she’s posted updates in “groups” but not under forum topics, so they don’t get seen. I let her know this so that maybe she can copy and paste her posts. In the meantime, if you just go to her name, you can see all of her posts/responses, etc. Love, ZumbagirlJune 13, 2011 at 5:13 pm #14569AnonymousInactiveHi Zumbagirl-Thanks for the support and calling to my attention that I am not posting in the right place. I think JoAnn did tell me that, but forgot. It’s a wonder any of us have a brain after what we are continually subjected to with our SA.
How are things going for you. I have to start keeping up again – have just been so busy, and also spending a lot of time with Steve.
Yesterday, we were out at the grocery. I walked around the corner and he was looking at a woman eye to eye. No-one significant, but says he doesn’t remember doing it. Says if it had been someone he had to watch out for, (A blond) he would have been cognizant and looked away. I have to wonder if he isn’t playing the dissociation card since it was suggested by my therapist this may be what he is doing. How convenient. Also, went to the check-out. I saw him look at a magazine with a blond in a very suggestive outfit. Says he noticed the rack from a distance, but didn’t look over when we got up close. Is he just making me think I am crazy again, is he lieing, is he dissociating – Who the hell knows!! He seems to be doing well, but of course I am with him. Wonder what he does when I am not with him.
I may have some answers after returning from Omaha on Friday. He has the whole day to get out and do things. He says he doesn’t do anything without me. I will know, because there will be a GPS system on his car (unknown to him). That may be the final blow and I will finally have an answer. He is so good at lieing, and as I said on another post is better than anyone I have seen from posts I have read on here from spouses of they’re SA.
I would just like an answer one way or the other, since D-Day is coming up August 13th. Would be so good to find closure.June 13, 2011 at 6:00 pm #14570floraParticipantHi Sharron, Glad to hear you are okay. My SA is very good at lying, scarry good. So I know what you mean. Its hard when you are dealing with someone who is so freely lies, but now you are the wiser, but it is all so crazy making. Had I not found any evidence i would still be in la la land, beleiving everything my SA said; because he never once told be the truth without evidence in my hand. He as never admitted to more than what i have found. You expect when you ask someone a flat out question looking straight in their eyes there would be a squirm, a look away, something. There were no telltale signs with my SA, but I have the proof. So I know what is true, based on the evidence i do have.
Everytime I have to tell my story to someone again, i am sure they do not really quite comprehend as we do, that there are people out there like this. Who lie freely even when asked a direct question. That feel no remorse or ping of moral right; to tell the truth. They assume since they have gone to therapy for a year, that they must be walking the straight and narrow; oh how wrong you can be.
Its a scarry world out there, even scarrier with someone who you are not ever really sure you can trust. Good luck. I love the idea of the GPS tracker. With these guys we have to try to hoo them with something they do not know about, with hard proof facts, to catch them. As I said if i had not tracked my SA i would not have known about his activities while wathcin our daughter, because he never would have told. My gut tells me their is more my h has never told about, but I have no evidence so he will never tell. Ugh.
Good luck! I hope you get what you need, whatever that may be.
June 13, 2011 at 6:44 pm #14571AnonymousInactiveHi Flora – I know what you mean about the SA only telling the truth when they are caught. Sounds like they all respond the same.
It all gets so frustrating with the therapist saying he may be dissociating. I say BS – he knows exactly what he is doing. He has brought up the subject of D-Day a couple of times, so am sure he is just trying to act like he is doing everything right so I won’t go through with even a legal separation.
Hope you are doing well. talk to you soon.
Much love to you.June 13, 2011 at 9:25 pm #14572ms-lindyParticipantSharron, glad to see your posts again. I was wondering about you also. Curious about the GPS. I don’t see the need for one at this time, but have wondered about it in the past. Where do you purchase one and how do they work, are installed, etc. I keep hearing more and more about those systems. How does one detect if it’s installed on your own car?
Thanks,ms lindyJune 14, 2011 at 3:47 am #14573AnonymousInactiveHi ms-lindy I am having a private detective friend of mine put it on Steve’s car while he is over at my condo. My sister had one installed on her husband’s car as well. If you have it installed on your own car, you have to have it done while SA is sleeping. They are very hard to detect unless the car is up on a rack getting an oil change, as was my sister’s. The detective went to Jiffy Lube and took it off before they were finished with the oil change – very good detective work.
I will have one installed, by the detective, while my husband is at my house. He will be here until dark, so the detective can do it without being seen.June 14, 2011 at 3:49 am #14574AnonymousInactiveOh, I forgot to ad – once the device is taken off, by yourself, or the detective, he can download everywhere your’e SA has been on line.

June 14, 2011 at 12:22 pm #14576ms-lindyParticipantSharronm Hmmm, interesting information about the GPS. I will store that away in one of my ‘if I ever need to do that’ files. Thanks dear for telling me about it.
ms lindyJune 14, 2011 at 1:55 pm #14577marieParticipantHi Sharron and ms-lindy,
I haven’t used GPS devices to track a car for my husband, but had a particularly challenging teenage daughter a few years ago. We put it on the car ourselves, took about a minute and no technological savvy required and we loaded the software on our own computer and we could track where that car went in real time as it was traveling….and it was that easy with the technology available 8 years ago. She was so busted:)
