Hi Ladies,
I just wanted to post something positive and beautiful this time.Only one week until my middle daughter gets married, I’m so excited to see her finally tie the knot and get hitched! This child of mine has such a beautiful soul. She has struggled with many physical difficulties in her lifetime and yet remains kind and gentle and has grown into a marvelous woman of whom I’m so proud. Hurrah and standing applause for her 🙂
So this makes it three daughters to get married this summer now, whew!!, my two stepdaughters and now my middle daughter. (My H and I have five daughters between us, and it has been quite interesting to say the least). My oldest is married with a new baby boy, and my youngest is my Wyoming daughter, who has a one-year-old daughter, and whom by the way will be flying home here tomorrow. Yippee!!
So in spite of all the crap and negativity in life…there are rainbows galore in our home for the next week.

November 7, 2011 at 3:47 am #21628ms-lindyParticipantI just have to say…this wedding week is starting out not exactly as I thought 🙂
Wyoming daughter and 15mo old granddaughter got here Friday night. Baby has croup, and vomiting, and explosive poops. Now today mommy has vomiting as well (is five months pregnant) and I’m running my old tail off…ice chips, laundry, changing sheets and clothing.
Saturday afternoon/night we had bride daughter’s bachlerette day starting with mani/pedi’s which was delightful, but after dinner bride-to-be daughter stepped off a curb and sprained her foot. Son-in-law-to-be is walking stooped over with terrible sciatic nerve pain.
BUT, in spite of all our ills, I feel more alive than I have felt in months (dealing with SA’s garbage). I am so grateful for my kids. Isn’t that something?
Just saying!!
November 7, 2011 at 4:02 am #21629dazed-and-confusedParticipantms-lindy~ I am so happy for you in spite of all your minor mishaps this weekend. In time you all will look back and only remember the fond and wonderful memories of the wedding and time spent together. {{hugs}} Jac
November 7, 2011 at 7:08 am #21630cbslifeMemberExplosive poops! How descriptive of you! I love it. Dazed is right though, it’s the first thing I thought of is that this will definitely be a memorable moment in time!
I surely hope you don’t catch whatever they had. Especially the poop part of it.
I love that you can see some humor in it and accept the situation for what it is. Everyone will be fine and y’all got to spend time together. That’s what’s most important.
Love you, Lindy. Poops and all! Claire
November 7, 2011 at 11:41 am #21631floraParticipantHi Ms. Lindy,
Hope you make it through fine. Keep the pepto near by just in case!! Wash hands like crazy and if possible isolate the sick….so hopefully you don;t get it!!!Anyway. sounds like good times coming. Love, Flora
November 7, 2011 at 2:50 pm #21632dianeParticipantExplosive poop potential at a wedding? Are you in an Adam Sandler movie? Hmmm. Is she wearing white?
I’m sure it will all work itself out, (no pun intended). It’s a good thing to have a sense of humour in a spot like that.
Sending LIGHT!!!!
D.xoNovember 7, 2011 at 3:35 pm #21633ms-lindyParticipantGals, it is sort of lol humorous, isn’t it? I can only imagine the potential for some mighty fine film footage this weekend. Maybe even some YouTube material that will go viral (get it, viral)? Ha!
Love ya all, LindyNovember 8, 2011 at 12:37 am #21634napParticipantMs Lindy,
You sound like a great mom and grandma! I hope things have settled down a bit and your not pooped out! Had to say that one!
Love, Nap -
