Agree with Catherine here. We do all need each other. Daisy, I am glad you got the support you needed, even though a little late. I hope you saw my comment- as lukewarm as it was- as a way of seeing the insulting and demeaning comments as not OK. I know we are all hurting, and I think SOT is as wounded as the rest of us. SOT, I hope you can see some of this feedback to you as trying to help you see yourself better.
Daisy, I responded on your other thread. I missed it that you needed support and I am so sorry.
SOT, it is clear you feel wronged, but of course this is a support group and you are right to say so. I don’t see that you were gaslighted in response to your defending your view. And I don’t think the responses were meant as a threat, either. In the two years I’ve been here I have only seen two people asked to leave. The statement that people are frequently “voted off the island” is incorrect. I wouldn’t fear that at all, here.
