If someone paid for a 1 week all expense trip to anywhere you wanted to go, where would you go and why?
probably somewhere in Italy.
I’ve been to Florence, so somewhere else. Something about Italy just grabs me.I would go to Punta Cana, or some place like that. I need to be on a beach and let the sun and water restore my soul.
Where can I get this all expense paid trip donation?

I would go to Uganda to see the gorillas. Was meant to go this July but with the split was one of the things I had to miss out on – its back on my to do list x

My best friend lives in Pietrasanta in Italy so I would go visit her. Her husband of 25 years (also a SA) is playing silly buggers with her right now as she finally decided to dump him. He is a real narcissist and is trying to push her out of their house and sell it. He’s the ass that had the list of 25 women he’s slept with during their marriage with a rating system.
I love Italy! The food, the people, the cafes…
I also love Australia – Hyman Island is my idea of heaven.

I’ve been blessed. My mom saved £10 a month for 10 years and my daughter and I are going to Tokyo for a week to visit friends. I really could use a restful holiday right now but I am very excited to be taking this break. My son is staying with my mom while we are away so he will have a blast with his cousins x
London or Santorini, Greece. Tough choice. Been to both places and loved them both. I used to tell my H back when he was my boyfriend (long before kids, dogs and homes) that if we broke up I would move to London. My H took me to Greece for my 40th birthday and it was a magical trip. Loved the scenery, the food, the wine, the people. Everything.
Man . . . I feel like I’m on the wrong list 🙂 I’ve never been out of the United States!
But, I have no desire to either. I’ve been cross country 5 times and I’d still like to do it a couple more times, driving, to see the sites in the U.S. that I’ve yet to see.
Daisy – that reminds me – I always said to my husband that if he ever ran off with a blonde fluzy that I would move to Australia (we lived there and I loved it – he didn’t). Anyway – he did (well, grey, not blonde, same diff), so I should!

Deb, we lived in Sydney for 3 months when my kids were 2 and 4. Absolutely beautiful country. I would love to go back someday – didn’t get to do as much sightseeing as I would have liked as it was a work trip for my H and the kids were so young. We did go to Daydream Island for a short vacation which was gorgeous. Where did you live in Australia? We were in North Sydney (I believe) very close to Macquarie University.
I would like to go to a place where there is honesty and truth….. I am going to Toronto with SA staying in a swanky place he can stay with his Son. Same with Mexico I will bunk with his Niece
It is wonderful to dream again and see and hear the world thru different eyes. I have been so caught up since D-day in Sept that I have missed a month lol. Thank you for all your sharing.

Where WOULDN’T I go is more like it! As part of the “Recover Liza” program, I have instituted for myself a mandatory rule that each year I must (1) visit at least one foreign country, and (2) undertake at least one major physical challenge. Still working on getting out of the US this year, but I completed two goals: I climbed Half Dome in Yosemite and also Mt. Whitney, the highest Mountain in the lower 48. I did each climb in less than 24 hours. Did I mention I’m terrified of heights. So yeah, Liza’s back and she’s kicking some ass while she’s at it.
My gosh Liza, you’re part monkey!!! Wow girl, you got it going on. You need to help me with a ‘Nap Project’. I can’t even do a sit up! Congratulations Liza !!!
