Wow Liza!! Who’da thunk it? And I was really patting myself on the back for a hilly walk I took this week, hahaha!

Liza – when I was younger, I backpacked to the top of Yosemite Falls twice (and camped there)….but Half Dome? Wow! That’s quite a fete. Amazing!

Deborah, just so you know, last year I could barely walk from the couch to the fridge for a beer without taking a rest. 😉 Deb, that’s awesome – the hike to Yosemite Falls is damn strenuous but SO worth it! I hope you were there when the falls were running. There was so little rain this year that Yosemite Falls was dry by mid-July. And NAP, I’m training for a MAJOR hike next year – the John Muir Trail, 215 miles from Yosemite Valley (via Half Dome) to the top of Mt. Whitney. So my training these days consists of lots of trail running and much hiking up mountains with a heavy pack, etc. One unforeseen benefit of my “Recovery” project is that I’m SO damn tired at the end of the day, I sleep like a baby.

Thanks for telling on yourself about the trip from the couch to the fridge. That is a very inspirational story and I’ll bet you’ve really tightened up those glutes for your massage time with David:)

Seriously, I’m proud of you in your recovery project. I wish I lived close enough to hike it with you!

    Love

I’ve always wanted to go to the Tennesee area. It would be a road trip and I’d love to see Graceland, Nashville, Chatanooga, go to Dollywood, and end up in Ashville NC. I think I would need 2 weeks. Looks like a beautiful part of the United States and it’s an area I’ve never seen before.

    Lisa – you are inspiring!

My centering place would be any island on the planet. Just being near the ocean calms and soothes me……… and ultimately recharges me…… Just what I need!
