If you could meet anyone in the world (living or dead) and have lunch and talk with them for 2 hours, who would it be and why?

For me it would be Jesus. I try to approach life through my faith life, and I personally believe He knows my past, present and potential future perfectly accurately. He knows if my h is truly sorry and on the road to recovery. He could tell me all my h has done, so I would know I have the true picture. He could tell me to leave or stay, or what boundaries I need to establish, and that He has great plans ahead for me. He could tell me how to handle my children related to this crisis. He could give me each and every answer I long to hear, and lead me on a path of restoration, hope and healing. Then I could act upon His insight, trusting in his omnipotence, faithfulness, and love for me. That is what I would love to do. B. Trayed

Carl Sagan. He was truly an intelligent, sensitive being with insight, foresight, intelligence, creativity–and, he was just cute as hell.

Brains really turn me on. I don’t think I could make it through lunch with him!

My easy peasy answer would be Michael Strahan of the New York Giants (ret); I got to meet him a few months ago albeit briefly, but I can embellish the story and you’d think we were the best of friends. In reality, it was at a photo op LOL but I’d love to pick his brain.

However, on a more serious note, I would be honored to have had the opportunity to have lunch with Robert Emmet (Mychal) Judge. He was the NYFD chaplain and first recorded victim of the 9/11 attacks. He gave the ultimate sacrifice in order to perform last rites to the injured inside and outside the north tower.

While the images of his death are what people remember, there is so much more to him. He offered encouragement and prayed at fires, and rescues, and hospital bedsides. He even worked 16 hour days when needed. He ministered to homeless, the poor, recovering addicts, people who were sick or injured, and the grieving. He was truly a man full of love.

I think I could learn a lot from him. Especially forgiveness.
