I am going tomorrow at 11:00. I’ve been going back and forth with the sales guy …. The red one had a black interior so I said no. He has a silver with beige interior…. so, we’ll see how it goes tomorrow.

Me too!! I have NEVER bought a car on my own. My dad or brother or husband always handled the whole thing …

I figure I am going to get screwed by the sales guy ( money wise) but its not like my H shopped for bargain hookers 🙂

Just curious, do the kids know?

The silver one sounds nice. Don’t settle. See if he can find you a red one with a tan interior. The guy will find one, I guarantee you that!

Sorry…. It “snowed”…. Literally less than an inch here in the south so everything was cancelled. Even athletic events have been shut down 🙂

My soap opera drags on until the “deep thaw of 2014” takes place….. I’m figuring I can get to the dealership by Tuesday…..I’m busy Monday but Tuesday ought to do it….

I’ll keep you all posted 🙂

The kids do not know. This one is all for me.

March, I am all about “go dawgs” unless they are playing Bama….. My 2 BFF’s were from Georgia! I spent some time behind the hedges 🙂

My best friends first husband proposed to her at the Georgia /Ole Miss game…. For those of you not from the SEC football high society then this is a huge tailgating/ who has the priciest purse opportunity… Anyway, he had a plane ( yes a plane) fly over the stadium with “Ole Miss Mel, will you marry me? This Georgia Dawg loves you..”

Everyone went bananas …. She cried. She acted as polite society dictated and said yes but I knew she wanted to strangle the SOB. She did not want to marry him.

I spent the whole next year trying to talk her out of it. She was crying in the church before walking down the aisle. I offered to get her out of the church right then and there. She married him. He was an abusive nut job from HELL. His father was worse. She finally divorced him. Married a wonderful man. Has two little boys …

Oh yeah, and she adored my H. Just like everyone else ….

Love Bombing at its best with a Georgia peach from a small town that just didn’t “do divorced”….it’s just not done. It took all of us to basically stage an intervention and drag her to the lawyers…

Bev, your a Bama fan? I have been exposed to southern tailgates…my daughter went to UVA. The sundresses and suits and ties the kids wear to the games. Classy. Here in the North it is jeans and sweaters. My bestest friend owns a house in Beaufort SC and another home in Opelika, AL. We travel there a lot. Her girls went to Auburn. Its so pretty there. And even though it is unseasonably cold, there is hardly any snow! We have so much snow here I feel like I am driving through a tunnel!
