MemberHi dear sisters!
Sorry it’s taken me a little while to repost since my SA’s tantrum/meltdown a couple weeks ago. Things have been crazy with Thanksgiving and my son being home from college for a few days. On top of that, while my husband was driving him back to college Sunday evening, a deer ran into the car at full speed. Thank God they weren’t injured at all. The insurance adjustor and our collision guy both said it was a split second of difference between life and death. The deer could have easily gone through the windshield. I know there will be some pointed comments about this with regards to my SA, but thank God my son is ok!
So as of now, he is still in the house. I’m sure that will be to the disappointment/disagreement of many of you. I truly felt he had a big tantrum, and I do not feel in immediate danger. However, I am on high alert, and my eyes are wide open.
I am also typing this from the new pw protected laptop I got for ME!!! So take that, hacking douchebag. In reality, we are acting quite civil. The attorney also warned me of how that attitude will change quickly when he realizes what he has to pay. Don’t we all know that too well!
So I will keep you all posted…forward motion. 🙂

ParticipantZG,
Thank you for the update on your life. I miss you sister and so sorry your life has been so crazy these past few months. SA and crazy making go together it seems, unfortunately. How are you doing Julie? I hope you’re okay and I’m thinking of you.

ParticipantGlad to get the update ZG.
And even under such stress due to dumbo’s tantrum and then the accident, you sound stronger and more focussed than ever! You used to be like a fragile container of fear and sorrow that might be blown away in a storm. Not now. You are ZUMBAGIRL!
So glad to hear your son was not hurt. I don’t know what we would have done if he was. Your dumbo should thankful for small mercies because a whole lot of momma bears riled up could be an ugly thing.

MemberHi Julie,
Glad to hear you are doing ok and things are progressing AND that you have a new laptop. I hope you still have your friend too and that your H has to pay through the nose… 😉 No matter what he coughs up he won’t be paying enough IMO.

MemberThanks for the words of support, sisters! And Diane, I do feel stronger than ever…I think stronger than I ever felt throughout my whole marriage. A lot of it is due to such a strong support network, first and foremost my Sisters here!!!! I also found that telling a few close friends my story took a huge burden off of me. I also have safe places to go and people to call if needed. These SA’s want us to live in secrecy of course, and they scare us into that. I can’t tell everyone the details of my marriage, and there’s no need. But take my advice, especially the newer ladies: find a few safe, close friends to talk to. It is a huge help!
To be continued….will update as things move along
