Adore them!
my two cats are on my Avatar—although the black one now ilves with my sons, and the maine coon knock-off died in Feb.
She raised the black one from a kitten and mothered him. Very funny to see them cuddled up all the time when he was small, because he was so obviously not her kitten!
Diane, I love your avatar. So sorry about the cat you lost. It’s never easy. (I know you heard this before, but from far away your avatar looks like a butterfly. I love that…)
Cindy, they are mine. Madeline, on the left is 11 yrs old. And Ava is two. (She was actually a post d-day 1 guilt gift! It’s ok, though. She saved my heart then, and she still continues to do so.) The funny thing is, Madeline very rarely wants Ava that close to her, so this was a rare photo! 🙂
B.-trayed: Can’t wait to see your turtle!!
As a child, we had a pet…a dog named Mittens. I remember talking to her and enjoying her as I grew up. I keep considering getting a mini-labordoodle…to love and snuggle with…but you know what I am worried about, that the dog with connect with my h more than me, like my children have, since they found out about their father. I would be brokenhearted once again to be betrayed by my new dog too. Perhaps I should stick with turtles, since they can’t really connect and show preferences. (As you can sense, there is a lot of unity in our home!) B. Trayed
