My husband relunctantly disclosed his sexual addiction in 2005. I was nursing our 3rd child at the time and pregnant with #4. I decided I woulld stay, under those circumstances and work on the marriage, which we did. We did EVERYTHING the experts at the time said to do. Things were better, I thought, until I drove my his relapse in 2010 and then I spent a year on the fence trying to decide what I wanted to do. I finally decided to divorce him. I have been coping with the 12 step model (Alanon–eventhough he’s not an alcoholic) and realize now that I also need the trauma piece for full healing. I also need the support of other SA women to help me through my divorce. That’s why I’m here.
