    A Broken Wing

    If you saw a bird
    with a broken wing
    Would you stop?
    Would you cry?
Or would you walk on by?

    The bird could sing
    with a broken wing
    It couldn’t fly
    Would you help it survive
or would you let it die?

    Aren’t we all just birds
    with broken wings
    The help we need
    means everything

    The wing can heal
    the bird can sing
    If you stop and help
    a broken wing
    It really means everything.

That is truly what our human experience is about. To me, that is what this group of lovely hurting women is about.

Thankyou for the beautiful poem, NAP.

NAP – Your poems are wonderful, and always bring tears to my eyes. I ALWAYS get tears when I read things like this on S.O.S- let’s keep on “chuckin.”

NAP, I hope she will read it, come back and accept the love and healing you offered in that poem.

This is probably my second favorite poem I’ve written because it describes how we sisters all help each other.
