I don’t have the time to read this thread in full but I plan to. I can’t imagine what is contained in these responses and how many of us have heard the exact same lie.
My H’s first and continuing lie for 10 years is the one I find so outrageous.
“I love you so much I can’t even fantasize about other woman. I’ve tried and it’s always you.”
I’ve never believed it but it amazes me that he kept telling it, It amazes me even more that I didn’t suspect WHY he was telling the lie. Foolishness.
He finally stopped saying it when I told him that if he ever uttered those words again I’d coldcock him.
One of the reasons he gave me for using porn to masterbate was because he “doesn’t have a good imagination.”
Haaa. Kim you made me think of another one. My h was talking about when he has sex dreams. And he once said that when he has sex dreams its always me, and that he places my head on the other women. Yeah right, and wierd. I never wanted to know any of this. But i think he was saying this becasue he actually has a massive library of inventory of images in his head from online porn, and i am sure i was never anywhere in it. Weirdo.
One of the last ones that did him in, and sounds so innocent, he said “i had a hard time finding the kennel” (he was supposed to picking up the dog). Yes it did take him a while, and no he found the kennel just fine. He stopped at a porn shop to add to his collection. He called to tell me it was taking longer than he had expected, and that he could not find the kennel. Nice.
Later when if found the porn stash their were recepts that on that day he bought more porn. It would be one thing if they came up with these bizarre lies, but its everyday events.

A lot of my h’s acting out happened in the parking lots of the YMCA and Home Depot. Funny, despite all the time he spent at those places, neither he nor our house was in great shape.
I remembered a good one. He told this lie in front of the CSAT. A hidden playboy in the closet changed locations. So I tell him I know he is lying that he hadn’t looked at any porn in a month because the playboy was moved that morning.
He said the cat must have done it. He stands by that lie till this day.
Then he accused me of “setting him up” by secretly checking the location to see if it moved.
